Astroscale turns a root-level Dockerfile into an AWS application stack while your team retains account ownership, direct AWS billing, and control of the source repository.
Security boundary
A scoped cross-account role protected by an external ID performs AWS operations. Astroscale does not ask you to paste long-lived AWS access keys.
Operating workflow
Create and change apps in the console or through authorized MCP tools. Deployments use immutable Git references and expose status, build output, logs, and lifecycle controls.
Repository and account requirements
- A root-level Linux/amd64 Dockerfile and an HTTP listener on the configured port.
- An AWS account where you can create the onboarding CloudFormation stack.
- An available GitHub CodeConnection in each deployment Region.
- A public hostname under Astroscale or a connected Route 53 hosted zone.
Current beta boundary
Customer-owned AWS access is admitted through the private beta waitlist. AWS charges remain on your AWS bill. Availability, quotas, and supported Regions are confirmed during onboarding.
